Karkhana

                          “Karkhana! We are going to visit Karkhana where many people make woolen clothes” I was really surprised to hear such shocking words from our Edulift teachers. I had never been to Karkhana too. Though I was too surprised I didn’t ask any thing about karkhana to our teacher. We just made plan to visit karkhana. But when I finally reached karkhana it was beyond my thought because it was not like worker’s station where workers spent their whole day working with dirty woolen goods with their boring face. 

                              Instead it was a garden of knowledge where people develop new innovation and invention and supply their valuable knowledge to whole Nepali citizen. They were giving new ideas, hinds and suggestion to new generation to improve the technology of future Nepal. Though we come to know that it was educational institution who provide ideas and knowledge to create new innovation for upcoming Nepal, We thought it was something profit making institution attached with some school that provides theoretical education. But it was our wrong thought because they were providing their valuable knowledge to large number of student in free of cost. 
                       It was really beautiful place to visit where we can find a lots of new inventions and ideas to develop our mind skills to explore ourselves in front of others. it is a group of young stars to develop experiential learning in upcoming Nepal. I found many amazing things around its territory where all the scientific innovations are musty possible.

THE WEEK I BECAME VIDEO MAKER

Hi,
      A heartily welcome once again to all the distinguished users and the viewers to my blog spot. Today, I have something new views to share with you all. With reference to our Edulift class, our teachers had given us fourth weekly challenge as to make video of one of the social organization existing in our community area that has done a lot of socially positive impact to us all and our society.

       “What! We have to make video as film director” I was really afraid, nervous and  surprised when I firstly heard about our project work. I had watched many videos and films in my life but I had never thought of making and developing videos like movie maker d
o. That  was my first appearance in such  challenging  work like visiting to unknown institution, interviewing with unknown person and collecting all the required information to develop pecha kucha for preparing our video clips.

       It was really challenging task to fulfill within the limited period given by our teachers. As it was group collaboration work, we group 8 members made plan and targeted to go to Marinka children home which is located just near to Bajra international school. We were too nervous to entered inside it and we were even confused what to speak with them and how to get all the necessary information. But when we entered inside Marinka home God had mercy upon us. So, even unknown person of Marinka home helped us a lot to overcome against our fear, difficulties, hesitation and struggles to collect appreciable information for our project. He gave us detail information about the background, objectives, achievements and future plans of Marinka home. We thought it was something profit making institution attached with some school that gives hostel facilities to the students reading in school. But our thought and imagination was totally wrong as when we interviewed with them, we come to know that they we were totally focusing on developing civilized citizen in future Nepal. They are involving in a kind of social work that is related with street children and their welfare. They are collecting large number of street children and giving them family hood environment to overcome against their street life and difficulties.  

Wow! What a great job they are doing and what a view they have.  I was really appreciated with their works and contribution to our society and the country. I saw with my naked eyes that the children were enjoying a lot in Marinka home.  I was really happy to see parent less children to enjoy with pens, copies and books. They all were giving beautiful smile like the shining star.

       When we finished our interviewing  and information collecting work, there came again another big difficulties to make video. I had no any idea to make video and everything . But any who we had to do the task because that was our project work given by our teachers. So, we searched many hinds and information about movie maker to succeed our project. On the other hand, our teachers had also told us to add stop motion in our video. But we were totally blank about stop motion .  So, stop motion, recording sound and managing them  in our video  became another struggling task to our group. We thought we will not be able to develop our video perfectly but it was our wrong concept we finally made our video with the help of our teachers and all other classmate. We were extremely happy to get the result of our hard work and everything struggles.


When we all get success to prepare  our project, I thought I became one of the successful video maker too in my life. But it was only my imagination because I have to learn innumerable things about it and develop one of the best video in my further life. No matter I will be able to make another video better than this or not but I was really happy to learn something new skills  like video making, developing stop motion and interacting with unknown person. I learnt to study my own periphery, our society, community and the things  that are going on in our surrounding.  I come to know that success is on our hand and it only depends on our desire.

They could herar the beautiful sounds of birds from the end of the forest."look, it's Danphe" Yodin shouted,"it can't be," Alan said. but he knew that Yodin was right and they both went near to see the beautiful colours of Danphe. Yodin was born in Jalnagar, a beautiful village in the lap of Ganesh himal. His father had owned huge forest area where he could enjoyed with all animals and the birds. His father was one of the properous farmer too who had owned huge space of fertile land.

But when Yodin became 16 years old his father sent him to Kathmandu for his further education. He was heart broken to leave his family, all birds and animals of forest, friend Alan and specifically his old weak mom. When he came to  Kathmandu he stayed with his uncle and aunt. He joined nearby college for his study. He was really alone in college without any friends and company. When days passed he started involving with one of the classmate called Palden. Later on they became a true friends. They had good time to share their feelings and thoughts.

One day the class was running on and Palden said," I am too much bore of reading all days in class, Bro! You read in class I will run away. But don't tell to any one, OK!" When Yodin heard such feelings from his best friend, they together ran away from the class. They started roaming all the corners of kathmandu all days. When days passed on they became habituated to bunk the class and started spent all days and night in street. One day they were going through the road of Bouddha, Palden went to buy something in the shop. Palden had bought cigarette and he made Yodin to test that.  At first he was afraid to test but he could not reject his fried's request. So he started taking cigarette. They started spending all their money in cigarette.
One morning they were walking just through Nayabasti, they felt too hungry. So Palden made him to wait in one of the Peepal Bot and went in search of food. But after few minutes he brought something like packet of iodine and said,"sorry bro, I didn't find any food for eating but one of the guy gave me this. he said that if we take it, it will makes our stomach full and will not make any harm". Yodin was too much hungry. So they started taking together. But later on they knew that the things they taking was drugs but they could not banned that because they had became addicted to that. They felt lifeless without the help of drugs but they required huge amount of money to buy that. So they started working for one of the Boss of Furniture shop. The Boss made them to smuggle forest's product illegaly to get required amount. They were given handsome amount to buy drugs.

    When time wents on they became bored working all days in Furniture shop and smuggling trees with fear of police. So Yodin thought of returning to his own village to strengthen their business.  After working 5 years for their Boss they both went to Yodin's village. When they reached back to Yodin's home, he said" Father! father! I have excellent idea to earn huge money". His father said," what's that? Can you share with me?" "Of course Dad. We can cut down all our these trees and sell in the market.", said Yodin. His father was unknown about the business but too he allowed his son to do that. After few years they had huge money but very less trees. All the animals and birds of the forest had ran away and all the agricultural lands had dried up. They started suffering from food starvation. So huge amount was loss to buy foods. On the other hand  Yodin and his friend Palden had started spending other amount in buying drugs.

To reflect back, Yodin's childhood friend Alan had already became village master. He use to teach all the village children. One evening, Palden and Yodin were taking drugs in on of the nearby courtyard his home. Suddenly Alan saw them. Though Yodin was his childhood friend he didn't want to see his friend to involve in those activities. So he immediately called police from their village headquater. Finally Palden and Yodin were caught in charge of illegal cutting down of trees and unwanted supplying of drugs. Lastly, Yodin's father realized his great mistake that he had obeyed his son to cut down his wealthy trees.

Condition of Nepalese people in Quatar

Welcome back to all the viewers and the users to my blog spot,

today  I gone a explain you briefly about  Experiences that developed in my heart when I watched one of most popular documentary related to the condition of Nepalese people in Qatar.


















 Most of we Know that dozens of Nepalese migrant laborers have died in Qatar in recent weeks and thousands more are enduring appalling labour abuses, a Guardian investigation has found, raising serious questions about Qatar's preparations to host the 2022 World Cup. I was also really surprised to see the miserable condition of Nepalese people in such a developed country like Qatar. 


As our daily class activities our Edulift teachers had shown us the documentary related to the Condition of Nepalese people in Qatar. I was shocked to see the inconvenient condition of Nepalese brothers in Qatar.


   According to the documentary shown to us it clarify that  at least  more than 50 workers died  of various cases like heart attacks, heart failure or workplace accidents in Qatar.

First experience with Saunak Bhatta at Edulift

Do you know this gentle man?

Absolutely, most of you have known him.  He is Saunak Bhatta who is famous as one of the most talented and motivational speaker of our society. He has done most important job in the field of social development and educational field in our country.

I was really amazed when I firstly saw Saunak Bhatta in our Edulift program. It was our fourth day’s appearance in Edulift institution, our teachers called Saunak Bhatta to teach some life skills to us students. But I thought he was not so much confidence to wake me to reflect back and to realize how our life should be. When he started giving brief information about types of generation in which people’s life belongs to, he had mentioned generation disappear, generation struggle, generation live, generation influenced and generation's remember. he said that  we must be the category of generation's remember. it means that our works should be to the welfare of the our nation and the people that will make us to remember by up coming generation too.

I was fascinated to his each and every words to think about my capacity to make my own life beautiful and more beautiful. he had such a magic in his speech that made my eyes open to choose the right track.

He gave beautiful message to we students to have a vision to shine a light and set an example for others to follow and change the world one small step at a time for the better future of human being. he said that to be a successful person we do no have to be an Olympic athlete, or to have the brains of Stephen Hawking or the muscles of Titan. anyone can be a winner. it just depends upon what we mean by winning and how we go about it.

I learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. we should move with good people because the meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances. if there is any reaction both are transformed.
